Having qualified at Westminster College and the Cordon Bleu School, London, Jan ran Director's Dining Rooms for several years, providing individual and original menus for major City and West End companies. By popular demand for her services Jan became increasingly occupied with providing distinctive and imaginative menus specifically tailored to individual customer's requirements, resulting finally in the establishment of "Jans' Larder".
